My friend Heather emailed me that a girlfriend of hers was having a birthday party in my neck of the woods.  I didn't know the birthday girl but had not seen Heather in a while.  It turns out that the birthday girl is a music promoter.  Since I have never met a promoter who didn't want to be my friend, I figured that I could get away with crashing the party.  To my surprise, when I showed up, I knew half the guests already.

I am now friends with Jennifer Claveau (the birthday girl).  Guests included Heather Morgan, Scott B. Sympathy, Richard Flohill, Marianne Girard, Ed Winacott, Noah Zacharin, Laura Fernandez, and Grainne Ryan.  It turns out that Jennifer lives in Keswick, a town just NE of Newmarket where I live.
