The Great Sciex Flood of 2005

On at around 3pm Friday, August 19, 2005 a major storm system swept across the northern edge of Toronto and dropped over 100 mm of rain in a few hours. All the storm sewers were overloaded and Sciex was completely surround by over 30 cm of water, preventing most vehicles from leaving.

Here are some photos of me leaving. Unfortunately, the photographer didn't catch the 25 cm bow wake in front of my truck. It was the first time that I ever had to use the 4WD Low setting.
