Gate 403 is a combination of neighbourhood bar and art gallery at the top of Roncesvalles in Toronto. It is a very friendly place, not at all pretentious like some "jazz clubs" and people go to listen to the music unlike other "bars." Despite the poor lighting (remember, I'm a photographer) and the cramped quarters (others call it cozy but I carry a lot of gear) this is one of my favourite places.
