Located at the corner of Sherbourne and Adelaide for 25 years, this was another of my favourite places for jazz. Closing in the summer of 2006, it will be sorely missed. I was usually there early in the week when they featured lesser known, but no less talented, performers. First The Senator closed, now the Bistro; there is no longer a large upscale room dedicated to jazz in Toronto.
